Whether you’re cycling, playing football, or hitting the golf course, simply activate upfront “Physical Activity” mode. The system adjusts your target glucose, according to your workout which you can pick from one of the 29 predefined activities. Is your activity not listed choose? Select anaerobe, aerobe or mixed! Choose your workout intensity and duration, and it even recommends timely rescue carbohydrates to avoid hypoglycemia, and not just during the exercise, your personal insulin sensitivity is taken into account for up to 16 hours afterwards too.

The DBLG1 system adjusts insulin delivery for meals, it’s even possible and advised* to announce your meals upfront. On setup, you’ll enter your typical average carb intake per meal, so when it comes to eating, you just choose small, medium, or large. If you prefer, you can enter the exact amount of carbohydrate instead. The self-learning algorithm adjusts to your insulin to carbohydrate requirements! DBLG1 continuously monitors your glucose level and adjusts insulin delivery to keep you as stable as possible. Enjoying a fat meal? There’s a special option for that too!

The DBLG1 system’s algorithm learns your basal and meal insulin needs step-by-step, getting used to whether you need a correction bolus, all with help from the Dexcom G6.
